lion cubs
Ages 3–5
Our introduction to the game.
Lion Cubs is designed to help young players fall in love with soccer in a fun, encouraging, and age-appropriate environment. At this stage, the focus is not on competition—it’s on movement, confidence, friendships, and learning the basics of the game through play.
Players will be introduced to foundational soccer skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, balance, coordination, and teamwork through engaging games and activities designed specifically for early childhood development. Every session is built to keep kids active, smiling, and excited to come back each week.
This program is led by parent volunteer coaches who are supported every step of the way. Coaches are provided with structured practice plans, drills, equipment, and guidance to confidently run sessions—even if they have little or no coaching experience.
Lion Cubs operates in 8-week seasonal sessions during the Fall and Spring, creating a manageable and enjoyable introduction to youth sports for both players and families.
